Rotary Support for the Virginia Living Museum
We are proud to celebrate the Virginia Living Museum's 50th anniversary year and to honor and recognize Rotary's involvement as a founding partner and continuing supporter! We are excited to be part of the following Rotary clubs supporting the 50th anniversary of the museum with a Rotary Foundation Grant: Warwick, Hampton City Center, and Oyster Point. Also supporting on their own accord is the Historic Triangle Club. Supporting a museum that serves 240,000 annual visitors and 7,000 family memberships with natural science and environmental education truly demonstrates the Service above Self mission.
On October 1, numerous Rotarians from the local Rotary Clubs spent a Saturday sprucing up the new outdoor Dinosaur Trail at the Virginia Living Museum.
October 15th is Opening day for the Dinosaur Discovery Trail. I encourage you to attend this exciting event. Be sure to get your picture taken with the Rotary Pteranodon!
