Substance abuse is one of the most pressing social challenges of our time—affecting individuals, families, and entire communities. In this talk, we’ll explore the deep and far-reaching impact addiction can have on every aspect of life.

We’ll also confront the stigma that often surrounds substance abuse—an obstacle that prevents many from seeking the help they need. By fostering understanding and compassion, we can begin to break down these barriers.

Most importantly, we’ll highlight the critical role of recovery. A whole-person approach—one that addresses physical, emotional, and social well-being—offers the best path to restoration and long-term healing.

Join us for an honest and hopeful discussion about the journey from addiction to recovery, and how we can support one another in building healthier, stronger communities.

About the Presenter:

Travis Hall is the President/CEO of Faith Recovery, located in Williamsburg, VA. Delivered from an 18-year struggle with drug addiction in 2001, his personal transformation fuels his passion to help others find true freedom from addiction. Travis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, specializing in Addiction and Recovery, and a Master’s degree in Human Services Executive Leadership from Liberty University. Travis is dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey toward healing and restoration.  He is happily married to his wife, Dawn, and is committed to his family and his faith.  Travis is also a fellow Rotarian, and Past President of the Rotary Club of Newport News.
